This private studio has the necessities for up to 4 guests to have an incredible time enjoying Flagstaff, including a full bath with tub/shower, an efficient kitchen, futon and queen bed.
You will feel right at home in this cozy space! The views are spectacular year round with huge Ponderosa Pine trees everywhere you look. This studio apartment sits below a custom home that is located in the quiet and rural area of Kachina Village, but is just a short 15 minutes to all the attractions of downtown Flagstaff.
You will find the space is well appointed with comfortable queen bed, plus a queen futon, and space to relax, read and watch TV. The kitchen has all the basics you need to prepare a great meal! You will find a coffee maker, a blender, crock pot, toaster, range, microwave and mini fridge.
There is a wonderful space just outside to enjoy the natural beauty of the Coconino National Forest and the largest stand of Ponderosa Pine trees in the nation. If you like birds, this is a wonderful place to see many species including Ravens, Stellar Jays, Bald Eagles, Hawks, and Woodpeckers.
Flagstaff is officially a Dark Sky City - meaning we have an amazing view of the night sky with stars, planets and meteor showers all year long. There are also several observatories in the area, of which the Lowell Observatory is open to the public. It also holds the honor of discovering Pluto (still a planet in Flagstaff).
If you are coming to Flagstaff for recreation, you will not be disappointed. There are multiple year-round outdoor activities to choose from. From summiting Mt. Humphries at 12.633' or making it to the Colorado River at the bottom or the Grand Canyon, or just a nice walk on the Urban trails or Buffalo Park, there is a variety of activities for everyone.
Arizona Snowbowl is just 30 minutes away for resort skiing and all around that same mountain in the summer you will find a network of trails for hiking and mountain biking for all levels.
There are many National Park and Monuments along with other Historic, Geological, and Cultural sites within a days drive which makes Flagstaff a perfect home base for your adventures.
