The fully-equipped kitchen boasts granite counters, gorgeous cabinetry, and an open layout that makes for fun and easy meal preparation. The kitchen features modern appliances, a dual sink with garbage disposal, and a full complement of cooking utensils and dishware. Enjoy high-top bar seating at the counter for casual dining or a more formal dining room table with seating for six near the gas fireplace.

Featuring a private entrance and in-room heating unit, the Master Suite offers privacy and comfort with a cozy queen bed and a lovely master bath with a luxurious jetted tub and shower. Down the hall from the great room you will find two additional guest rooms.   The cabin was cozy, charming and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. Our overall stay was nice. I personally would have liked a firmer bed and more comfortable chairs in the main room, but we had an enjoyable time. The first evening, we gathered around the table to play games and work on projects. On our second night, we used a Roku, via a Verizon phone hot spot to watch movies. The two days we were there, it was 34 degrees, with high winds and hail, which were not conducive to outdoor activities. We had been hoping to use the hot tub, but it was too cold.
  Location is a trick question. There is a beautiful view out of the back looking through the trees up at the rocks of Sedona. The trees were just beginning to turn. But this cabin is difficult to find. We missed the entry twice, once during the day and a second time at night. There are not any road signs to notate the entrance. By the time we saw the entry road, we had passed it and then had to try to find a place to turn around. The road into the property itself, is a single lane. Both times, there was a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
  The property manager was helpful, pleasant and sympathetic to our requests. There were some questions about electronics which were answered in a timely fashion as were some difficulties at check out. Our major complaint as a group, was the cancellation policies of the owner. The original reservation was made May 2019, for April 2020 and was cancelled by the owner, without the option of a refund. We were only offered time in late October, even though there was availability listed on the HomeAway site for the end of September and the beginning of October. There was no negotiating on this issue.
  Although the cabin was nice, due to owner policies, (no cancellations, no refunds and inflexibility of date reassignment) it is unlikely our group would consider another rental.

  It was a great cabin in a fantastic location. There are only 2 things I would suggest. Newer movies and a new mattress in the room with the bunk beds. The mattress slopes to the middle, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. We ended up sleeping on the bunk beds. There was no access to the hot tub towels. The instructions said the hot tub towels were in the cabinet in the hallway, but they were all locked. Also, the windows don’t lock.

  This cabin is adorable from the outside and certainly the magical location in Oak Creek Canyon, along 89A, about 30 minutes from uptown Sedona in one direction and 20 minutes from Flagstaff in the other, makes you feel worlds away from everything. There was no cell phone service at all for us (we have T Mobile but Verizon does work), the t.v. satellite did not work AT ALL, there was no wifi, and the clocks were wrong so we were really living in a bubble! There was something great about that- especially to escape the stress of work and always being reachable and I was happy that my 5 year old played outside and got dirty every day and we hiked and ate dinner together outside and there was not talk of missing t.v. at all but we did leave a sick kitty cat at home and sometimes it was hard to not know what time it was really or the weather forecast or to be able to call someone to just check in. There was a landline so out petsitter could call us but we could not dial out to Scottsdale. Anyway, inside, the cabin could use some updating. Mismatched furniture and old pieces but that could be charming and rustic. Very dark inside- even with the lights on and shades up during the day. All the lights were not bright and some lightbulbs were out, including the fridge light. It got dirty and dusty feeling with all of our in and out but no access to a broom or cleaning supplies. Would be nice to have access to a washer/dryer, as well, for all the dirty clothes and socks my five year old had from playing outside! Overall, amazing views, cool temperatures in the shaded yard and neighborhood even though it was in the 80s and low 90s in Sedona, nice hikes down to the creek from either side of the neighborhood, comfy and relaxing hammock...Just felt relaxed and enjoyed walking our dogs under the trees in the cool mornings and being 'in the woods' for five days. So the trade off felt worth it in the end, I suppose! I already want to go back!

  This place is a nice secluded getaway from the busy city life. Tucked in a corner with no one behind or to the side of you. The patio is expansive and great for hanging out, relaxing, or eating at any time of the day. The jacuzzi was inviting however, we did not use it. It looked like the jets were out on one side as well. If you are looking for a true getaway without technology around you this is the place. No internet, and there is. TV with dvd options and DirecTV but we did not attempt to even turn it on. Has all the amenities you need for a nice relaxing stay! Will definitely look to stay again should we return to the area.

  We loved it here! The house was great and had a beautiful view through the trees. Super quiet spot if your looking to get away. It was a beautiful cabin with comfy beds, very clean, and there is a hot tub! The only thing that didn't work was the whirl pool tub in the bathroom attached to the bedroom closest to the kitchen. Just the drain didn't seal all the way so tub never filled up, but who cares, because again...there is a hot tub! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place. We might even go again ourselves!

In the middle of December, in the middle of the woods, yes we got in the hot tub! It was filled and set to go, it was AMAZING! A perfect way to relax!   My thoughts. On the plus side. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Nestled in oak creek canyon, this serene place exudes a peaceful, healing green energy that my body and soul soaked up like a sponge.lying in the hammock. Looking up through the tall pines. . . Relishing the aroma of the pines and the soft warm breeze . . Mmmmm. . . Heavenly. We loved the location. So quiet and far enough away from the commercial hub bub but close enough to drive in for an afternoon of shopping or enjoy a restaurant, etc.
  
  Now. As far as what could have made the trip more enjoyable: I feel we paid top dollar for a lot of amenities we didn't receive. We had no cable t.v., there was a surround sound set up but it didn't work. A nice group of recliners in the living room (3) . . None of which worked. A nice gas grill but we weren't able to finish grilling a meal. . . Ran out of propane. There was a land phone but we had to pay to make local calls. An inconvenience since we had no cell service. The master suite had no hanging space for Clothes nor a full length mirror. However, it was a large, spacious cabin. Very comfortable.
  Management was not around until the last day.
  
  Would I recomend this place to my friends?. Absolutely! But just a heads up that a few things need some attention.

There is DirectTV at the house, but as it is tucked away in the canyon, the reception can be variable. I'm so sorry you ran out of propane while making dinner!! We always have a back up tank available at the house and would have brought you more were both empty and had known. We appreciate all the feedback so that we can continue to make sure all guests have a 5 star stay!

  I really enjoyed this place. We loved the location and felt like everything was clean and as advertised on VRBO. It was great for the kids as it was close to the forrest, creek and canyon walls. The 3 person bedroom was also a great spot to put the kids at night. We had issues with the hot tub and they sent someone out to fix it super fast. They were very responsive to my texts and concerns. My only complaint was that the master bathroom smelled moldy. It was fairly strong in the morning after the door had been kept closed all night. The bench on the picnic table outside was a little precarious and we had to keep putting it back together or just not sit on it. Other than that it was perfect. Everything was clean and it felt very cozy. I would recommend it to anyone but especially large families or groups of friends.

  The house was just like you see in the photos, cozy and had everything that we needed. Upon arrival, the creek that you have to cross had flooded the bridge (as is very possible at certain times of the year) We were fortunate to have a 4x4 and were able to ford the creek. There is a walking bridge much higher up that can be crossed if the bridge is under too much water. The house is quiet and the back yard is open to the forest. The kids loved the hot tub, there is plenty of space indoors to lounge and relax. We would definitely return and certainly recommend this place.

  We had a great overall stay! It's outside of downtown Sedona. Nestled in the forest and backed up to the mountain side, it's a quite location. Not much cell reception unless you have verizon. There are a few trails near the cabin that bring you to the creek. The house was well keep and had all the necessary items you would need for a quick getaway. We stayed in early April and the weather was amazing! The management staff were always there if we needed them.

  We had a wonderful family reunion at the cabin. The cabin had no internet connection, no TV, very limited cellphone service, however this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately it snowed about 3 inches while we were there, so we weren't able to take advantage of the hiking trails behind the cabin, but the view was beautiful! I wish we had more spent time at the cabin. They only minor issue I could complain about is there was only one good skillet to cook in. The others were pretty scratched up. But overall the cabin was wonderful I would highly recommend for a nice getaway.

  This is a beautiful place, very private and well equipped with everything you need to settle in for a relaxing vacation. It's just a short drive away from some very good restaurants and cafes. Both Sedona and Flagstaff are just a short drive away. We were in awe of the amazing hiking spots located close at hand. Our only regret is not packing a fishing pole for the stream! You won't be disappointed.

  We’re looking for a cabin type retreat in Sedona that excepted pets & this was an option. So glad we selected this cozy cabin. It was a perfect set up for our family. One couple took the master with the on suite; one couple took the king sized bed; & daughter with two children took the bunk bed, queen bed room. We have two small dogs that travel with us & they loved walking in the woods. This cabin had all the comforts of home, including a jaqousi. Thank you!!

  We had a great stay, extremely quiet, tucked in the canyon and secure. Hot tub was a nice feature, cabin was clean and well maintained. The only downside was that the DIRECT TV reception was not functional. Overall, i would stay again in this cabin when visiting Sedona/Grand Canyon.

  Cozy home, everything furnished. Only downfall was the TV was not working, something about they moved the dish and it doesn't work. Not having a TV is not the worst thing, however, we did miss the Eagles game on Sunday night!

  This time of the year is one of the best times to visit this area. The Hiking is the best in the state. The cabin is perfect for a small group. The Jazzuzi is relaxing up the big tall pines. The view is out of this world. You can hike right out your backyard!.

  We absolutely loved this house. There were 6 of us and plenty of sleeping room for all. The spa outside was beautiful especially at night. The whole area was very quiet and so relaxing. Though we were there on a girls trip (6 of us), I would even recommend this cabin for a family trip. The neighborhood is quiet. It backs right up to the canyon mountain.   The cabin was everything we had hoped for. The cabin was clean, in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the pines, and was equipped with the necessities. The houses in the area are very close together, but you wouldn't know from this property. The back yard with the hot tub is situated so it's facing nothing but pines and mountains. Heed the warning that cell service is spotty at best. I have t-mobile and had no service, my partner has Verizon and had some connectivity but not enough to stream video or music. This was not a problem for us because we came prepared. Also, the kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, etc., however do bring spices and aluminum foil for cooking. (They do have salt and pepper.) Overall we loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

  We had a great time at this little cabin in the woods. It was more than big enough to accommodate a family of 6, and a very easy (and scenic) drive to Sedona. Everything was as describe and in perfect working order. Communications were easy and timely. The one thing future renters should be mindful of is the lack of wifi. That is fully disclosed in the advertisement, and we (at least the parents) found it refreshing not to have the kids glued to their phones/ipads, etc. But if you just can't pry yourself away from the internet, then you may have an issue.
  I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks.
